Founder and Coach Jason Schembri

In the middle of my executive career, I found myself at a crossroads, grappling with escalating health issues and a deteriorating lifestyle, which led to emotional turmoil and distress. Hitting 320 pounds by the age of forty, I faced urgent health challenges that required attention. I felt despair and anger, believing that it was too late for a health transformation. However, I decided to try, and after years of trial and error, I developed the 4E Weight Loss system. This system is the culmination of over a decade of research, hard work, and lived experience, providing an innovative approach that promotes weight loss AND the elimination of the root causes. By focusing on biblical wellness and giving my faith and fears to God alone, I discovered complete peace, freedom, and joy in my life. Now, I am fit and healthy at 210 pounds and in peak physical condition. I am dedicated to helping men transform their health through coaching and support, including insights from God’s food chart. I am also the best-selling author of Keeping It Off.

Personal Journey and Testimony

Teaching about the health benefits of eating the food God said is good to eat is not something I ever thought I would be doing today.

When I look back and see the journey that brought me to this place, I can see God’s perfect plan and His design for my life.

I’d like to share some of that with you now so you can see what led me here.

I grew up in Australia and lived a very active life. Almost at the age of 30, I moved to Canada at the end of the 90’s and built a career in the corporate world as I also built a family.

This was also when I came into my faith and began learning to trust God with my life. It took a long time, and looking back, I can see that the big changes all came in stages, perhaps God was shaping and growing me over time to be ready for His plans for me. This was a big change from the man who always thought that life had to be a battle for everything he wanted.

The first man I coached was turning 40. He also had a successful career and had a big family. Outwardly he seemed happy, but beneath the surface there was a lot being hidden. Some things he even kept hidden from himself.

He weighed about 320 pounds and when asked, he couldn’t really say where it had all come from. Almost like he’d woken up one day and just seemed to see it for the first time. Looking back, he could see that he’d made choices, small ones here and there, that had led him to this place.

He knew that he was clinging to the success of his career, hoping that this would be enough, and praying that his health would just improve over time without him having to put too much effort and time into it.

He felt happy most of the time, but the times he didn’t were very dark. He would sometimes feel depressed, and sometimes he’d feel angry, knowing he had nobody else to blame but himself. But, his pride wouldn’t let him take the blame so he would sometimes lash out at those around him, those he loved most, and this fueled the anger he felt towards himself even more.

He knew he had to do something to get his health, life and relationships back on track, but it all felt like too much to deal with, so, he mostly just pushed the issue aside. He told himself that he would deal with it one day, when there was more time.

He smiled and looked away, waiting for the right time, somewhere in the future.
He had fallen into a habit of focussing on the areas he was doing well, while ignoring what was going on with his declining health.
